The TH Hummus Society aims to provide a relaxed space for socialising through students’ mutual love of the Middle Eastern condiment.

We plan on hosting weekly sessions where members of the JCR can come and enjoy hummus, pitta and assorted dips, with music and conversation. Naturally, this would have welfare-related effects, and providing an easygoing antidote to the stresses of Cambridge life is undoubtedly a priority for the society. Having held our first event in Lent term-which was attended by around 20 members of the college-and having received a high degree of interest over social media, we believe it is clear that there is a demand for a light-hearted society of this kind.
