Film Soc

AIMS

For students who like watching and making movies.
Tit Hall Film Soc aims to promote the importance of diverse perspective in cinematic
experience, encouraging members to be open minded with both their filmmaking style
and what they watch.
How will this be achieved?…

ACTIVITIES

• monthly Crescent Room/Latham Lawn (projected) screenings of a new release,
voted for by students.
• fortnightly Terrace Room social, where members meet to discuss and debate film.
• circulation of themed movie list suggestions.
• monthly talks from guest speakers in various areas of the industry e.g. director, set
designer, actor.
• free, loaned access to film equipment (two cameras, two mics) shared responsibly
by society members.
