Arguably one of Tit Hall’s most successful and fun sporting societies, Mixed Lacrosse continues to go from strength to strength in Michaelmas 2017, under the guidance of captain Johanna Lambert (jkel2).
The team is currently unbeaten in the 2017 academic year and sits at the top of the Second Division in the Cambridge College League. An intake of talented freshers, as well as the continued development of existing members, most of whom only took up lacrosse upon starting uni, has helped to make this year our best yet!
Mixed lacrosse matches take place every weekend of term (except from one rest weekend) and we also run training sessions when there is sufficient demand – it’s therefore low commitment, but a great way to get you out of bed and feeling alive at the weekend. Over half the team learned to play lacrosse from scratch at Tit Hall, and some of our new members loved the game so much that they have advanced onto uni level lacrosse *keen*- we welcome people of all abilities, so whether you’re completely new to lacrosse or a seasoned pro, then get in contact with Johanna and come along!
