Because I find it so interesting, and love that there are so many different ways that you can approach it.
What advice would you give prospective applicants?
In a History degree a lot depends on your own work and motivation, so make sure you choose papers that are definitely going to interest you right the way through the year.
Any specific interview advice?
Stay calm – the History fellows at Tit Hall are all really nice, and enjoy the opportunity to chat to some top historians!
Has Trinity Hall lived up to your expectations?
It’s exceeded them, I was afraid the work would be overwhelming but there’s plenty of opportunity for fun.
What do you do when you’re not working?
Enjoying one of the lovely pubs in Cambridge (besides the massive Spoons!) or doing stuff for Tit Hall’s amazing Feminist Society.
What’s your favourite thing about Trinity Hall/Cambridge?
The people, there’s such a lovely sense of community.
